On Monday, April 13, Eau Claire travelled to New Buffalo to face the Raiders. Despite 3 lightning delays and a long night, the Lady Beavers played well. Chastelyn Cortez took an assist from Estrella Castillo in the 1st 5 minutes and put in past the Raidere's keeper. The Lady Beavers controlled the 1st half and possessed the ball over 80% of the time- Beavers led 1-0 at halftime. Keeper Heidy Velasquez never touched the ball until the 55th minute of the game and the game was then tied 1-1. Heidy made 3 more saves before a misplaced ball in front of the Lady Beavers' net allowed the Raiders to take a 2-1 lead with 20 minutes remaining. The game ended at 8:15 p.m. with 7:30 left on the clock due to more lightning. Coach Nelson
