Softball: The Eau Claire Varsity softball team brought home a strong win for the season! With only 9 players and no room for error The girls stepped into different positions and rose to the occasion. With run scored by Braelin Whitehead, Shakiya Suell, Eva Daniel, Alyvia Williams, Ari Townsend, Maddie Baker, and Bailey Lineberry the ladies were ahead by 9 by the end of the first inning. Runs being batted in by Nellie Salmeron and Brian Nerio. Braelin Whitehead had an amazing hit to the back fence which allowed her to easily fly to third. All of the girls put their all into the game and it showed. Hard work and perseverance, led the team to a victory of 15 to 4 invoking the 10 run rule and allowing the game to end at inning five!
