Yesterday the Middle School Track team hosted a home track meet racing against different teams from the BCS Conference. We had great times and great races from everyone who pushed through the cold weather. Starting with our field events in shot put we had all three throwers getting personal bests, in second place we have Willam Sanchez with a new personal best of 32 ft 5 inches taking second place, Joel Delgado with a new personal best of 25 ft 11 in. taking fifth place, next we have Jeremiah Ortuno with a new personal best of 20 ft 10.5 in. In long jump we have Ha'Darin Autry taking third place with a jump of 15 ft 1 in. For the running events we start off with the 4x800 meter race we have the team of Parker Tysman, Jerome Beene, Alexander Lopez, and Bentley Baker who ran a person best of 11.53. In the 100 meter dash we have our first place runner Te'Veon Suel running a personal best of 13.11, next we have Marcos Perez with a time of 14.06, Emir Hernandez with a time of 14.38, Mateo Santiago with a time of 14.54, Michael Hackney with a time of 14.88, Ivan Villafurete with a time of 14.92, Damien Santiago with a time of 15.29, Davari Edison with a time of 15,30. In the 4x200 relay the team of Marcos Perez, Te"Veon Suel, Ivan Villafuerte, and Victor Rodezno took first place with a new personal bests of 1.54. In the 1600 meter run we have Alexander Lopez taking third place with a time of 6.31, Jerome Beene with a personal best of 7.13, and Parker Tysman with a time of 8.34. In the 4x100 relay the team of Marcos Perez, Te"Veon Suel, Ivan Villafuerte, and Victor Rodezno took second place with a personal best time of 56.30. In the 400 meter dash we have Bentley Baker with a time of 1.10, William Sanchez with a time of 1.15, Joel Delgado with a time of 1.25, Jeremiah Ortuno with a time of 1.29, Karson Catizone with a time of 1.36, and Colton Lowery with a time of 1.45. In the 70 meter dash we have Camden Hill taking third place with a time of 10.29, Michael Hackney with a time of 10.51, Davari Edison with a time of 10.77, Damien Santiago with a time of 11.20, Mateo Santiago with a time of 11.46. In the 800 meter run we have Hayden Galaviz with a new personal best of 2.53, Karson Catizone with a time of 3.50, Jeremiah Ortuno with a time of 3.54. In the 200 meter dash we have Victor Rodezno taking first place with a new personal best of 30.35, Emir Hernandez taking third place with a new personal best of 31.54, Camden Hill with a time of 32.08, Damien Santiago with a time of 33.16, Michael Hackney with a time of 33.85, William Sanchez with a time of 34.85, Davari Edison with a time of 35.33, Mateo Santiago with a time of 36.12, and Joel Delgado with a time of 36.18. In a competitive 3200 meter race with a photo finish we have Alexander Lopez taking first place with a time of 14.16. The final race for the boys was the 4x400 relay with the team of Ha'Darin Autry, Hayden Galaviz, Bentley Baker, and Jerome Beene, the team took first place with a time of 5.03. For the girls in the 100 meter dash we have Allyson King with a personal best of 16.7, Bridgette West with a time of 17.00, Esmeralda Manzano with a time of 17.25, and Payton Tysman with a time of 19.89. In the 1600 meter run with both girls running a time under 8 minutes, we have Yaretzi Capula-Bravo taking third place with a season best of 7.14, next we have Arely Martinez with a season best of 7.54. In the 400 meter run we have Esmeralda Manzano with a time of 1.26. In the 70 meter dash we have Allyson King with a time of 12.18, Bridgette West with a time of 12.57, Payton Tysman with a time of 14.49. In the 800 meter run we have Yaretzi Capula-Bravo taking third place with a season best time of 3.11, and Arely Martinez with a season best time of 3.32. In the 200 meter run we have Allyson King with a time of 40.8, Bridgette West with a time of 40.93, and Payton Tysman with a time of 48.41. The last race for the girls was in the 3200 meter run where Yaretzi Capula-Bravo ran a time of 17.13. All of the middle schooler's ran great times for the night! Their next challenge is at Bangor for their Co-Ed Relay event. Big shout out to Alexander Lopez and Yaretzi Capula-Bravo for doing the Ironman and Ironwoman challenge for middle school running a 800, mile, and 2 mile at a track meet.
