Beavers Tie School Scoring Record in 68-38 Win Over Muskegon Heights EAU CLAIRE, Mich. — The Eau Claire High School Beavers put on an offensive show Friday night, defeating Muskegon Heights Academy 68-38 and tying the school record for most points scored in a game. The Beavers were led by a spectacular performance from Melvin Davis, who accounted for seven touchdowns while contributing in all three phases of the game. Davis rushed for 275 yards on 17 carries, scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He also completed the big plays through the air, passing for 115 yards and five touchdowns. Jamaal Roseburgh provided another major offensive spark, rushing for 166 yards on 12 carries and scoring two rushing touchdowns. Roseburgh also caught two touchdown passes from Davis. Korey Roseburgh added 42 yards rushing on six carries and made two touchdown receptions. Christian Branch also hauled in a touchdown reception for the Beavers. Davis added another touchdown to his impressive night on defense, returning an interception for a score. Defensively, the Beavers were led by Mickael Clark, who recorded eight tackles. Korey Roseburgh contributed seven tackles, while Markos Scott turned in a standout defensive performance with six tackles and two fumble recoveries. The 68-point outburst matched the school record and capped an impressive night for an Eau Claire offense that consistently found ways to move the football and put points on the scoreboard. With the victory, the Beavers will now turn their attention to next week's matchup on the road against Lawrence.
