🏆 **Eau Claire Wrestling Update!** 🦫 This past weekend, our Beaver wrestlers competed hard at regionals and showed incredible determination! Here's how our athletes did: Madelyn Baker (Freshman) made history as the first-ever girls regional qualifier for Eau Claire Wrestling! Although she went 1-2 on the day, we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishment. The future is bright for this young wrestler! Angel Guzman-Valle (Senior) finished the day with a 1-2 record. While he didn’t qualify for the state tournament, his legacy goes far beyond just wins and losses. Angel has been a tough competitor throughout his high school career, always pushing himself and his teammates to be better. More importantly, he has been a role model for his peers—someone who exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated competitor and good person both on and off the mat. With over 100 career wins, Angel leaves a lasting mark on Eau Claire Wrestling. We know he’ll continue to inspire those around him! Javony Raya (Senior) was on fire, going 3-0 and securing a spot in the state tournament! In just two weeks, Javony will be competing at Ford Field in one of the biggest wrestling tournaments in the country. Let’s all cheer him on as he makes Eau Claire proud!
